Bankruptcy —Tracy Strom represents mainly individuals and commercial clients in bankruptcy proceedings, at both the state and federal level, that are initiated by either an insolvent individual, or business.  She handles consumer chapters 7 & 13 to enable a debtor to be discharged from further obligation or restructure their debts.  Her office is equipped to handle electronic bankruptcy filings.

Debtor and Creditor Ms. Strom has experience in protecting the rights of debtors facing collection processes, repossession, and garnishments. She has also assisted clients in debt workouts as an alternative to bankruptcy.

Elder Law—With the rapidly growing elder population comes legal issues unique to the elderly.  Sometimes simple documents such as a durable power of attorney can keep a person’s goals for their old age in tact.  Ms. Strom can advise a client & prepare necessary documents to accomplish the standard of living intended by the individual in their advancing years.  She is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Elder Law.

Guardianship—Ms. Strom has handled many guardianship cases, both as a representative for the incapacitated and those seeking to be a guardian.  She can assists in establishing a guardianship from its inception to termination, including annual requirements mandated by the courts for the guardian.  Ms. Strom has also assisted incapacitated persons in regaining their rights.

Medicaid —is a federal and state program that provides health insurance coverage to low-income children, seniors and people with disabilities. Medicaid also covers care in a nursing home for those who qualify. In the absence of other means covering long-term care, Medicaid has become the default nursing home insurance. In Florida, nursing home residents generally do not have to sell their homes in order to qualify for Medicaid.
